So far Iv done some simple Google searches. Being this will be next year's purchase I'm not rushed and haven't done anything beyond Google and this forum. All I know is I want a top notch unit this go around. I think that's why the SS Heatmaster is on my short list.. I'm sure I'll be asking questions about the newest designed G series I don't see a lot of post on that model. The P&M on the other hand there is plenty to read.

Well I've been at it cutting boat loads of wood. I'm cutting extra this year as to prepare more seasoned wood for next year. I got to see my friends e classic in action last winter and couldn't believe how much less wood he used to heat more space. Now I'm at square one again doing some research for a possibility of purchasing a gasification boiler. My buddies in my ear for a central but I'm not a fan of the design so I'm thinking Heatmaster G or  P&M. I'm just excited to do the research its like being a kid looking at new toys. Unfortunately trying to find dealers near me for those brands is like trying to find an honest politician lol.

I didn't happen to buy a p&m but you most certainly help my desicion on buying a OWB. I was originally only looking at indoor wood burners but I found this forum and a lot of your comments and posts swayed my mind which put P&M as a new option  along with other OWBs that wouldn't have other wise been on my radar to purchase. I'm sure you helped many others and with out that help P&M would have never had a chance at that business.

The zsupply outer case is much thicker than the other wrapped piped I have seen. I think that's what makes it better. I also went with a double tile.

I'm not sure slim was talking about P&M I think he was referring to wood Doctor if I'm not mistaken

Z supply is probably the best wrapped pipe. The outer case is thicker than normal corrugated pipe and if you double tile it that's even better and still be much cheaper than logstor.

Z supply is $6.95 a foot but if I had extra money to spend I would have gotten logstor or thermopex. I'm sure most members here will agree with me. If you have it in your budget get the best pipe

This may be a stupid question but has anyone else ran there power wire through the water lines. I have z supply and I used the rope that was inside of it to pull the wire through.

My payback will happen when the house is warm enough for my wife to walk around in her underwear or even better I'll make it warm enough for her to take those off too.  ^-^

My summer has been great. I installed my stove a few weeks ago and so far have about 5 full cord of all oak stack up. Luckily I'm only heating 1100sq ft total but I'm still looking to prepare more just in case.
