What's the standard depth in mi for 3 wrap double tiled pex.  Would I not have to go as deep with double tile.

Everyone I've talked to says 18-24" deep trench. This isn't like a water line from a well where you are trying to stay under the frost. You basically are trying to cover it good, yet keep it up out of the water table. I went close to 4' but I wasn't concerned about water, due to being in good sand. And, I'm on the high spot of the field around me. BTW, went by the other day, saw your unit out there. Better get it going, that woodpile looks anxious to get burned.

Couldn't be happier with it. Starting to get concerned though, if it doesn't warm up soon, I'll be out of wood by June.

Hey guys.... I'll be installing 5 wrap soon and have a higher water table around here (hawkins, mi). I haven't asked Craig (ridgewood) how deep I should dig yet but he did tell me to cover the pipe with sand. I'm hoping 18-24 inches would suffice.

If you can drop a perforated drain tile under it and that will help keep ground water away from it.
