Title: Crossing fingers and holding breath
Post by: martyinmi on December 14, 2011, 05:37:20 PM
Carol called me a few hours ago and told me that she talked to Arthur today. He inquired as to whether or not she had got her HE 8000 fixed or replaced yet. After a short conversation, he informed her that a new boiler would be on it's way and at her house in 3 days. He was going to call her back with the trucker's phone #. According to him, all it should cost her will be hiring someone to move the old one out of the way  and unload the new one from the semi, as well as hiring someone to do the necessary installs required. I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised, but also very cautiously optimistic to say the least. I'll keep ya'll posted. This will be step one in the right direction for him and his company if he proceeds through with it.

I'll hold my breath too.  But, if I turn blue and pass out, will someone try and revive me?

Fellow Michigander or not- you'll not get any mouth to mouth from me >:D You'll be at the mercy of the first responders!

On a serious note- they do manufacture a great product. I'm really hoping they get their act together and do what is right to the ones they've wronged.

Just got off the phone with Carol about a half hour or so ago. Her brand new HE8000 is scheduled for delivery tomorrow at 9:00 am. She sure seemed excited. I'll call her around noon tomorrow and see whats up and and post my findings.

Spoke to Carol an hour or so ago. Her brand new HE 8000 is sitting on it's pad waiting to be hooked up! She is very thankful to everyone here on this forum who may have inadvertently did something to speed up this process for her. I'm quite sure she would not have received her new OWB without this site and it's members. You all pat yourselves on the back.

Arthur, Rick and Brian- this is one down, sounds like many more to go, but you are heading in the right direction.

Just read your post Marty.  We're on the same page on the mouth to mouth, just let me slip away.

Freakin' awesome, Miss Carol got her stove.  Like you said, one down how many to go?

Maybe this internet thing will catch on and hold people accountable.  We're watching and we're pissed off and packin' heat.

We are new to this forum, but we are desperately in need of some help.  My husband and I just purchased a wood doctor 8000, I believe, from a dealer in the east coast  We need to talk with someone soon, as we are having problems with heating our stone house, 3200 square feet, with it. We will be on tomorrow night with the details, so if anyone can be of assistance, we would be so happy to speak with them.

I just purchased a HE5000 wood doctor furnace. The manual in the furnace show the 10000 model information.
I would like to talk to someone who actually owns and operates and HE5000 to learn how it works.
My name is Armand Robert and live in Northern Ontario Canada near Timmins, Ontario
my email address is     rarober4@gmail.com      when you email me, could you please give me your telephone number so I can call you.
I will compensate you for your time and advice.

Armand,
I tried to email you and got an error from yahoo.  I have an HE5000 and would be happy to try and answer anything I can for you.  You can send a direct message to me thru this site.

I have been waiting for 5 weeks and 2 days for parts to weld in the firebox since my unit corroded through.  I have now found parts local as Arthur promised twice now and nothing.

Great News,
Carol called me this morning and informed me that she is up and running again, and she is very pleased with how the system is functioning. She expressed her sincere thanks to everyone on this site. Everyone here that made a phone call, posted something, or said a little prayer, please pat yourself on the back. She and her husband are very grateful. I firmly believe that without this site, she would never have received her new boiler.
