The 1400 handled the cold snap really well.  I think the firebox was 2/3's full and after a 12 hour burn I had enough left to go another hour but I was running out time getting ready for work and need to added wood for the day.  I put in enough to last 14 hours due to having work late yesterday.  When I got home from work I really didn't know what to expect but it was a nice pile of red hot coals.  After 5 full seasons (this is my 6th season) of operating it, I think I'm finally getting the hang of running it.  Roger
