Facebook groups, for the most part instant answers. Whether or not those answers are correct is at the peril of the poster. I know of at least 5 different groups that always have new posts. Facebook is also easier to use and post pictures to. Even a farming forum I belong to (HayTalk) has lost some traffic to HayKings on Facebook. Most of the ones still using HayTalk are older members that refuse to use Facebook. Personally I prefer a forum like this as it’s much easier to search for topics.

I pop in and look around but not to much happening. I got my system pretty well sorted for the most part so I do not have to much to ask anymore.

I would like to see more action for sure, I promoted this site heavily for years and brought a lot of new members, I felt that it was a great non biased place to ask questions / get answers as well as expose issues. We all learn and the manufacturers get feedback. There are some here that get offended by that exposing part because it hurts the manufacturers bottom line, so they complain and the next thing you know, it’s an advertisement and somebody gets banned! Been there, done that! Gee, I hope I don’t get banned again for my opinion.

I check in and look at the new posts daily, but unless I see something interesting to me, I usually don't post anything.  for me, my system is all figured out and my questions are answered.  This place was a great help to me and I want to say thanks to all who contribute.  I'm sure lots of new owners still get lots of help from here.

Same here. Check in almost every day, and sometimes more than once a day. If there's something I can answer or help with I post, otherwise not much to to say.
Thanks to those who helped me when I was getting started.

I try to check in every day.  If someone needs help I hope I'm in the position to help but mostly it's me looking for the help.  I have received a lot of help from a lot from people in here; thanks for that.  I hope we can resurrect this site to what it once was.  Roger

I'm as guilty as anyone here. I used this site when I needed advice and now come here once in a great while. This summer I came here and tried to sign in with the user name and password but got a message that I was timed out. Only when I signed in up top did I get in. I originally thought this site was gone. Allot of sites are having the same problem with lack of active users. Sign of the times? I am a dinosaur, I never have used snap chat or any of the other stuff out there. I was told that Facebook is for old farts and not used by most young people. Good thing I don't have a facebook  account.

duramax - Be careful with that old fart remark, I resemble that.  :)  I use facebook a lot.  Roger

Roger:
My wife uses it allot as well. I am not about to call her an old fart. She does get the town alerts from it and can find out who has power after the storm. But you are talking with someone who just texted this year for the 1st time
