Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads out there? Take the day off.

My dad is no longer physically with us but I feel his presence everyday.  Growing up like a lot of children we thought our parents were dumb, out of touch, etc... but dad (and mom too) was the smartest man I knew.  He didn't have a college degree, heck he got his GED when he was in 40's.  What he lacked in book smarts he made up for it in common sense.

As Coolidge said, Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there!  Enjoy your day!  Roger

Your Dad sounds like the type of guy we need in office instead of what we have now. Doesn't seem like any of them have any common sense. Lack of jobs here? Offer amnesty to millions. Brilliant.

I had a great weekend, excellent music at the Blues festival in Sebago, Maine, awesome camping spot for my wife and I, plenty of cold adult beverages, great neighbors, and only answered the phone calls from the offspring. WOW I needed the break!  OK let's get back to fighting those high energy costs, Crude oil closed at 107 per barrel friday and it doesn't look good for those unfortunate enough to live in the Middle East. I think George Carlin said it very well with his skit about Brown People. Hope you all had a great Fathers Day!

Took my son and daughter to the driving range to shake of the rust, then in the afternoon my son and I went down the river canoeing.

Will probably spend all day Monday choking back Aleve, to help the inflammation from all the extra workouts ;D

Had a great Father's Day, with the two little monsters (grilling and drinking always make for a good day)
