I might just do that. I am all up and running now. I have a very happy wife. She said we should of done this the first time. I bought a Yukon Eagle 5 years ago. Thought that was the way to go for us. Because we snowmobile in the winter and would be gone to stoke owb. But this is so much easier. I can still sell my house someday with wood heat. But the owb is going with me. Thank all of you for your help.  Rod

General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / bending ThemoPex easier
« on: October 04, 2009, 04:24:30 AM »
Has anyone tried heating this thermopex underground  line to make it bend easier. Thought about a heat gun or pail of hot water.

Thanks for all the input. I have decided to go with central boiler.  I agree with all of you on two top notch stoves. I have a c/b dealer here less than 10 miles. He has been great to work  with and no presure. He has even told me that if I feel I need a blower after running it. He will give me one free.
So right now I'm scurring to get all hooked up so I can light a match.

General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / Re: concrete pad ?
« on: September 24, 2009, 11:37:58 PM »
I do concrete for a living. If you take a shovel width wide all the way around the inside of form and just thicken it oh let say 6 to 8 inches it won't hurt. If you got some old wire fence or re bar to lay in it would be good too. If you order it from a concrete company. You could have them mix some fiber glass fibers right in the concrete. This will take the place of wire or re bar.  I hope this helps.
