firestar controller manufacturer? ?

Does anyone know who the manufacturer is of the Firestar controller that makes them for CB pm if you do i am looking to rebuild one

Big Wood - I may be wrong here but I believe the Firestar controllers on the CB units is proprietary; I don't think anyone else makes it for them.  Roger

Even if it's proprietary, unless CB has their own circuit board manufacturing plant, somebody has to make it for them. I will bet though it's new enough the manufacturer of the board is not allowed to offer repair services.

Thanks guys ill keep digging its like the chevy truck dash they want over 200 dollars to fix but it only takes 35 dollars and one of the pieces is at radio shack they are bound to break down some day

Who did you speak to at CB ? I had programming issue in beginning and they sent a new up dated one to me very helpful tech.He knows his stuff!
