information on vacu-stack chimney caps

Does anyone know anything about vacu-stack chimney caps and if so can they be used on a outdoor furnace?

Hey scarface just wondered how you liked your earth and if you had any problems with it? I'm suppose to be unloading my woodsman anytime now. As far as vacu stak caps I'm not familiar with them sorry

I'm not sure why you would need it, the cubic feet of air per minute is set by the manufacturer and adding more draft simply pulls more heat out of the exhaust before it is absorbed by the boiler water, what problem are you having, we may have a different and simpler solution.

Hey Flyfishjt I love my earth mountain man 500!!! It's easy to maintain and easy to operate. From day one had no problems with the operation thanks to this website and everyone involved. And slimjim no problems here, I clean chimney's and one job I came across the vacu-stack chimney cap and wondered if anyone ever used one on a OWF. I currently use chimney cap from tractor supply and I think it works grate. HAPPY BURNING FELLOW OWB'ERS!!!
