Here's my 10 year old but new to me Hardy H2.  It's only been running for two days now but it's working great! It was used when I bought it.  It was involved in a fire and I had to replace all of the electrical components on the back of it.  I'm pretty happy with it so far.  In the entire system I only have about $1200 invested.

I visit her everyday.
She opens up without a fuss.
I fill her up.
She likes to smoke after I'm done.
She never complains.
Never has a headache.

Can we marry these things!  :)

It is only single wall.  I would like to add another 3 feet to it in the future.  I am pretty happy with the deal I got on it.  What do you need help with to upload your pictures?

To post a picture, do as you normally do by inserting your card and viewing them. When you find the picture you want to upload, click on it and hold down the mouse while dragging the picture off of the screen and onto your desktop. (start-up screen with all your icons.) You may have to shrink your screen so that some of your desktop is showing in order to have a place to drag it to. When you create a post, click on the attachments and other options at the bottom of your posting page. Click on the browse button and then select desktop from the dropdown list. Once you select desktop you'll have another dropdown listing of the items on your desktop.......your photo will be in that listing. Click on the photo link and then select open. Once you get back to your posting page click post on the bottom and it should begin to upload your photo. If your photo is too large you'll have to resize it and then save it. Hope this helps.

CM.........you sound like my father  ???........it's easier than it sounds, but you'll probably need someone to visually walk you through it the first time. Pretty much any kid over the age of 10 can probably show you how its done.......nieces, nephews, kids, grandkids?

If you follow Critrgitr's instructions step by step I think you will be surprised at how easy it is.   I will see what I can come up with to help you out.

How it sits now still need to level out around it and set the chunk of I have to load from, if the ground ever drys enough to do it.  Hope to put up a shelter for wood in the future.

Nice looking lump coal, you got enough????
Title: Re: pictures
Post by: Scott7m on February 01, 2012, 07:06:53 PM
That was just some left from last year.  I had about 33-3400 pound on my truck last week and the pile is as wide as the shed and about waist high.  I'm going to burn as much coal as I can now to save my wood for when I get a gasser.

That's a lot of wood, how come not cover it up?  If it's exposed it's near impossible to ever get the moisture content low enough to burn at it's best, especially in a gasser

Here are a couple more pictures of my P&M Opt. 250.  I added a couple of lights to the top of the unit:  green -  draft fan is running; red -  fan switch is in the off position; both green and red lights on - fan switch is off and control is calling for draft fan to run.  There are also a couple of pictures inside of the firebox.  Jackel, I know you wanted a couple of pictures of the inside, sorry it took so long.  You can see the draft tube running up the back and across the top, there are 3 - 5/8" holes in the bottom of the top tube, 1 in the bottom at the back, and about 6 on each side of the top tube.
