Creosote Cleaners Any Good?
« on: December 25, 2020, 09:53:15 PM »

I have been burning a little green wood mixed in with my regular charge each day so I'm sure I'm building more creosote than usual.
I've seen numerous additives that can be used but don't have any experience. Normally I just fill the firebox full of boxes, paper, and some old lumber scraps if I have any. Boxes are about all that's available for me this year so I was wondering if anybody else has tried that stuff.
The greener wood has kept my run times a little longer on these really cold nights.

Thanks and stay warm!

Boxes would help. Just long burn times too.
