the smart heat baffle
« on: August 27, 2011, 08:56:23 AM »

I have a woodmaster 4400 and the rod that connects the heat baffle, that you pull out when you open the door to put wood in has detatched. How can I fix this. I don't fancy crawling into the firebox to get at it. Anyone who has had this problem let me know how to fix winter is coming.

You will have to climb in and take it out.

A buddy of mine has a 4400 and had the same thing happen.  I know two things:  he had to crawl inside and he said it was nearly an impossible chore.  That is all I can remember right now, but if you want more details, I can give him a call.  Maybe knowing his mistakes can help you.
