Ridgewood replacement??
« on: September 25, 2016, 10:02:09 AM »

Just starting a conversation only. If you are a ridgewood owner and have already/are thinking about replacing your Ridgewood, what would go to? Most of us have to go to a gasser of some sort, what would you choose?

So far, our 7500 is running excellent.  3 years of running 24/7/365.  Thankfully no leaks, no solenoid problems and or pump issues.  Wish I would have purchased Logstor but a rookie mistake.  We heat a 4,000 sq. foot log home.  It does a great job.  Our furnace is covered by a lean to on the side of one of our barns.  We also keep all wood under the same lean to.  So it  doesn't really get much weather unless it is snowing sideways.  I have friends who have HeatMaster units and they really like them...........Vincent Paul Meyers

Ridgewood should be avoided at all cost.  They setup new shop selling the same stove with minor modifications screwing over many old customers.  Yes, they will fix your leaky problem for a huge fee, plus you have to haul the boiler to them.  In the end the new law will put them down.  For the hardship they brought on for many customers...all I have to say is goodbye karma is he'll
