Make sure you don't bite the hand that feeds you even if the the food isn't perfect or on time, or it my not come at all next time. Call your dealer a fly by night and a few other choice words over a stuck damper and I don,'t think I'd call back either. And remember Heatmaster reads these forums too and if your really in trouble they may not want to get involved with a unreasonable situation. Helping out each other and blessing each other even in hard situations is grease that keeps things going.Bless Scott and give him a good word when life is busy and rough and he'll bust his tail for you.
I sure hope heatmaster reads this forum, because now I need to call on some other dealer that I didn't initially use for my home. Maybe they could put a good word in for me as I have been nothing less than cordial with my old dealer, Scott.
I called him out, out of pure disgust long after I tried to get ahold of him for my problem. It's nice to stick together and again, I understand family problems, but I used Scott who is 4 hours further away from my local dealer.
I didn't call on him for a "stuck damper", I called on him for what I thought was a leak. A leaking firebox! I still have yet to here from him and this is after several requests. Now that I've called him out I doubt I'll here from him ever. But he wasn't returning my calls when I counted.
I love my Stove and the deal that I got on it. Fortunately I purchased a top line boiler, I hope none of you are ever put in my position.
Pile on me if you want I really don't care. I don't wish this on any of you, should your heater suffer catastrophic damage as I feared mine did.
Merry Christmas!
