Central Boiler / Side handle

Well I am getting good temps but my side handle is not working correctly, I don' t think the flap is opening all the way I am getting a lot if smoke out the door, I do notice I have to tighten the screw holding the handle a lot, is the any maintenance to do on the flap?? I am gonna really look at it during my weekend cleaning

Central Boiler / E1400 water taking long to warm up

I am noticing latley the water seems to have a problem getting hot for example this morning the fire was out water was at 163 I went out wood was Jamed up I loosened it and it was fine chamber temp has been at 400 it has been 30-40 minutes and it is still at 168 is there anythink I should check?

Well it was out when I got home from work so I changed the pulse to 20 minutes for 30 sections with a 7 degree variable, hopefully that will do it

About time seems like it might be getting cold enough to fire it up, I spend the summer building a nice unit for wood storage on the side of it so I can load in the rain without getting wet, and stacked my wood better, spent the summer collecting pine , I have a cb 1400 what is everyone running for settings in the fall???

I am going to heat my garage and I was thinking of lopping from the boiler to the garage before my boiler so my garage would be heated with no extra elec use ( just a radiator ) my boiler is about 135' from the boiler is the taco pump in the furnace enough how far can that pump before I have to add a pump?

Iam sure we all have some summer owb projects, it was my first winter with one and many a night I said I gotta get a light out here, I am also working on heating the garage as cheap as possible , there is a huge swap meet in ma in may hopefully I will find some good parts, I am finishing up my wood storage area I made with some free metal pallet shelfs

Well I usually clean it every Sunday morning but the colas were a little low yesterday so I thought I would do a little cleaning with my ice breaker then I used the Stanley wonder bar and I did not have gloves on so the heat must have made the ring swell cause it went flying into the red coals never to be seen again, I don't know the melting point for Titanium I am not expecting to find it in the ask bin. Hope a got a few BTUs out of it.
Just looked up the melting point online it has it at 1668°Cfo I think it is not going to make the ash try.

Well I have been out there 3 times and I thing I put a bunch of crappy wood, I emptied the wood out and filled it with good hard wood, there is a little smoke coming out the back smoke stack cover could that be my problem?

I am thinking the thinner I split pine the better and faster it will dry, what do you pine burners do? I have collected a ton of huge ( supper sticky ) logs and need to start splitting and covering it a to hopefully burn next winter

Central Boiler / e1400 menu options

I never got a new manual ( my control was changed under warranty to the new style) can someone tell me what the option #s are? For example on the old control I hd to hold the menu button then a number would flash to change the settings, I need to set the pulse, fire went out becuase it was like 55 today crazy weather.

Central Boiler / Cb 1400 blowing fuses

Well it ran fine for 7 days ( just installed 7 days ago ) at 3:30 today it started popping fuses I had to put my old boiler again it seems like the bottom syloids 2 seem to be doing it it is under warn the dealer is supposed to look at it tomorrow
