Did some shopping this morning!

  1 case of bar and chain oil $32.00
  1 case of 2 cycle mix oil $35.00
   Dozen files $12.00
  5 chain saw chains $12.50 each
  1 chain saw chain for my smaller saw $14.00..All for $155.50..Not bad I think
Those that live in NH went to Windy Ridge in Tamworth best place.. Saws and anything that has to do with logging etc..

The chains that I bought today are Husqvarna.. The other year I bought from there was Oregon and Laser.. Got for $11.50 a chain.. They do carry Oregon all the time..I think they are like a buck more a chain..

That's some good prices...I run husky chains as well, the best price I can find around here is $16 a chain for 20s.   I like husky chains, prefer them to the oregons....stihls are over priced IMO.

www.windyridgecorp.com (http://www.windyridgecorp.com) is the place that I went to today..They sell wholesale for any logging equipment..Web sight is not the greatest..But if you know what you want or need.. 1800# is right on the sight under contacts..

Are they the same grade?  All the loggers around here use husqvarna chains, they've always said they were better than oregons

I am not really sure. I know Oregon makes several different models and supposedly the LGX that just came out a few years ago are much better than the LG.

I usually just use Woodland Pro from Baileys which are just repackaged Carlton chain. Their prices have gone up quite a bit so I might give the Oregon or Husqvarna a try. (or maybe both)

Just got a 20" Carlton full chisel 3/8 by .50 (Echo) for 21.50 here in Rockford, IL. Not sure if thats a good price, just sayin.
