Piping question
« on: October 03, 2014, 07:37:33 AM »

I know I'm kind of ignorant on this stuff, but I'm new so I'm learning. Two questions: is this good piping? I'm used to seeing what looks like ceramic insulation  with a blue and red pipe. 2. Is it worth $10 a foot?

I don't know what kind of pipe that is but I doubt it is worth anywhere close to $10 a foot.  If you are willing to spend that kind of money on pipe you should look at Logstor or Rehau.  I paid $11 a foot for my rehau.

here's the link to the website.  The website doesn't have much information on the pipe and the stuff I got doesn't have the ribs on the outside like the pipe in the picture.  I bought mine from Scott7m.  You might try sending him a message or I can give you his phone number.

Thanks AirForce, I went ahead and went with the Thermopex, the dealer is right down the road from my house.  Thanks for the info though!

$10 per foot really?  :o
Maybe $5 unless there is something about it that you can't tell from the picture.
