Damper Fan
« on: December 16, 2014, 09:25:09 AM »

Hey friends,
My temp was having trouble getting passed 140 this morning despite a good fire going in the firebox.  I noticed my fan was louder than normal as it was on trying to kick up the heat. Is there a way to clean the fan or inside the blower? I'm wondering if that's the problem. I took out the whole pan to clean out extra ash down there, but it's still louder than normal. Thanks for words of wisdom!
Oh I have the MF3000

My guess is that the fan needs oiled. When they need oil they act like that.
