Hello everyone.

My name is Josh and I live in Upstate NY. I've had a Woodmaster 4400 for a couple of years now. I'm ready to drain my furnace and treat it with fresh boiler treatment. My problem is that the dealer that I bought the unit from has closed up shop and the closest dealer to buy boiler treatment from is nearly an hour away. I've called the local plumbing supply store and they have some kind of additive that cost $50/gallon and will only treat 50 gallons. That's a little too rich for my blood.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for me?  Thanks for any help.

After a little digging around online, I found Outdoorstovesupplies.com carries the Woodmaster boiler treatment. Shipping is $9 for a 1 gallon container. That'll work for me.

Is there anything you can buy at a pool store that would work?

I would just use something specifically for outdoor boilers. Not hard to find online if you can't get it locally. Shouldn't have to pay more than $10 or $15 per 100 gallons.
