Got my new h2 99% installed. Injoying the hot water for now. But I was looking it my stove after it got up to temp and I have a pretty big gap behind fire box door and ash door kinda like the outer shell is back to far I tried to slide it forward on the water tank but no luck. Any suggestions would be great. Im losing alot of heat right there. Its not a big deal now since its not very cold but I would like to get fixed before it gets cold.

I think you are missing the piece of insulation (~ 1.5" thick) that goes behind the panel between the ash door and the firebox door.

No I put the insulation and the piece of stainless between loading door and ash clean out. The gap Im looking at is up the sides of the loading door and across the top. Across the top the gap is about 1/4in and up the sides its about 1/2in gap. I can feel alot of heat coming out of the gaps. I dont know if I need to try to adjust outer shell on the water tank some how or try to seal the gap with somthing, or is this the norm??

I believe that is supposed to be caulked shut. I got mine back after a repair and never did it. I later remembered and it did still have caulk residue on it from before.

Thats what I done. Dont really know if it was right or wrong but it looks better to me ;D
