Well after 6 years I think the oil guys kid is done with college so I am getting a outdoor wood furnace I am in MA so it has to be EPA I have to stop by next week with my deposit I looked around and the central boiler 1400 seems to be a good fit the EPA sticker seems to bump boilers up to the 10K range I am thinking in the end it will cost me about 12.5k, any advice would be great I am starting to dig the trunch for the insulated pipe .

Im not sure what all dealers are in your area ,but I would look at a Portage&Main stove. They seem to be like a greatly thought oput and built unit.I would then look at a Natures Comfort ,but I don't know if they ever got epa certified in your state or not.
Good luck and take pics and keep us updated on what you install.

I have to agree with Matty, the Portage and Main sounds to be a quality piece. I have a Wood Doctor that is EPA 2 if you consider a boiler plate model over stainless. Welcome to the OWB Tribe

Don't think you would go wrong with either. I really Portage & Maine myself. Don't own one but wish I did.
