Post by: feltonmichael on November 09, 2011, 11:12:03 AM
Im wanting to wire a light on my owb so that whenever the light is on it cuts power to the draft blower.  Can someone please tell me how to do this?  I know some of them are wired like this just cant find the diagram.  Thanks in advance, Michael

You need a 3 way switch. Just wire it like the diagram for the switch but instead of a second switch, run one of the wires to the light and the other to the blower.

Here is a diagram. Ignore the second switch in the picture. Run one of those wire to the fan and one to the light. (red and black wires in pic)
