I used to use these in my indoor Wood Furnace. Anyone try one in a OWB?

I have tried them...Im not convinced they worked in my OWB as they did in my wood stove chimney..House chimney worked great...Ive found the best way to keep your OWB chimney clean is a chimney fire..

Really? A CSL for an OWB?
I agree with MattyNH. A quick chimney fire once a week works wonders! My OWB stack is only 8' long and made from some galvanized oil burner stack that I got a bunch of for free. Been burning for 1 year and have replaced it 1 time(15 min job). Didn't really need to but I was getting rid of the disintegrated rain cap and it was just easier to put on a whole new stack then to fool with removing the cap. I have about ten more pieces of the free stuff so I should be good for 10 more years. ;D

Actually, yes, I was being serious. I haven't even checked the chimney. I'll check it in a few minutes.
It was the firebox I was actually concerned with. Right now mother nature has not given us the normal cool weather and I'm just not getting the number of burns a day I was hoping for. So far, since I get email pushes, I'm averaging 2.1 burns/day for the last 5 days. Sure I'm saving wood, but it's getting a little black inside. I'm sure that will change in a few days as the colder weather gets here.
On a side note, I started stacking my reloads a little farther back from the door. Two days ago the door was stuck.
UPDATE:
I pulled the inspection cover and to my surprise there is hardly anything there! It was about 1/4" of dry stuff in there that rubbed off with my hand. I reached up to the firebox and up the chimney and got about two hand fulls of dried up creosote. I feel better now.
