Title: What kind of Thermostatic Mixing Valve to buy????
Post by: bigbird1 on December 05, 2011, 06:19:17 PM
it seems like thay make every price and size , what model did you all buy and have you had any problems with them ?  I have read the watts ones cause problems with city water, eating up the valve seats.

I installed a Honeywell AM101-US-1. It has only been in use for a couple months though, so I can't tell you how it will fare.

I chose this oarticular model so that I could choose to have hot water in the home that was greater than 120 degrees.

I purchased it at www.pexuniverse.com (http://www.pexuniverse.com) for about $75.
