well it going to get down to 18 put a 5 gl pail of coal in the Ml30 have the temp set at 165 and a diff at 3 deg. hoping it will stay lit all night. last time I tried it went out. Have the air damper on supply fan wide open, water circ pump on low speed (3 speed grundfos ups26-99), heat dhw, chimney is 21 feet so draw should be no prob. :D If any of you all have any sugestions i would really welcome them. Ido like burning coal been doing so in a add on furnance for 3 years. but really like the mess out side and heating the dhw now ! Saw a 75 kw reduction on the old electric bill !! oh by the way I would like to thank all of you ith info on this fourm is the best i have found it has help me in my install and running of my owb.

In process of installing my ml30. Its shaker grate model. Manual shows air adjustment plate on blower. My unit doesnt have that plate. Did they not install them on the shaker units?? And if not should i get one since i plan on burning wood
