well here in south western ontario it looks like the "24 burn" will be gone for a while. this winter season has been quite warm with temps around the freezing temp at night and well into the 30s' and 40's in the day light hours. looks like we are in for some freezing weather for a few days now. it has been easy on the wood pile as of late but that may be over now.
-
Your right about being easy on the wood pile! I expected to use a full cord in Dec, only used 1/2.
Feel free to kept that cold stuff north of the Border. We don't mind!
-
I agree with Ridge on keeping it up north.
-
i think the wind has "north american" status and needs no passport, you can not refuse it entry...sorry
-
The same for north west NJ cold tonight and for the next few days but then warming back!
-
Finally a little taste of winter. 8 inches of snow and 5 F below zero.
-
Sure wood be nice to have a stove that will not corrode through in 2 years. My stove and my sons stove are worthless as they leak and no one at Wood Dockor to cover warranty. No answer on any phone. Do not purchase anything from Arthur.

Getting the same weather as you willieG..I guess we are due for it..Considering have had fairly mild temps

Yeap its supposed to be in the 40's then down to 17 on monday. Not fair Willie! I can't believe you would let that cold head our way!LOL

Could not ask for a better winter so far. If I had my choice though, I would be the only Hawaiian OWB distributor. May not get rich, but at least I would stay in contact with you guys. It would be tough to hear about the snow in my shorts and shades. My cousin lives in Alaska, she said Christmas Eve was warming up to almost -17F. She can have all of that!

My family and I enjoy the PA snowshoe hare hunting season, which runs day after X-mas til today. We raise and train our beagles for the thrill of the chase! Well, it is sure Mother Nature's cruel trick to turn them white and make them survive on brown ground! We hunted every day except Wed. when winds were atrocious. Just gave the hares a free pass and enjoyed the dogs doing what they do best. Was a good time, but just not right without snow. More for next year....
Like how my wood pile is still looking quite full! Not a chance of running short this year!
A Very Happy New Year to you all!!!
