Title: Time for those reports again.....
Post by: Ridgekid on January 01, 2012, 08:14:10 AM
Happy New Year everybody!

I never imagined I would be starting January reporting I only used 610 pieces of wood or 1.69 cords! Or that it averaged 8.47 pieces of wood a day since I started the Green Dragon.

In December I had 266 burn cycles or 8.58 burns a day.

Thanks to a third party software (Inthrma) and my new thermostat I'll be creating another chart for my January report: Furnace on time in Minutes and Number of times my furnace came on. I've only recorded this for two days, so here's that data:

Dec 30- 228 minutes/17 times
Dec 31-130 minutes/ 9 times

The first two charts are posted in the gallery!!

Updated monthly electric use report.

Dec use= 1100 KwH. That's 70 more KwH than Nov.  >:(   We'll see what the new Grundfos will do for me in January  ;)

I just got my Consumers Energy bill today.
Oct. - 843 kWh
Nov. - 894 kWh
Dec. - 829 kWh
Sure beats the daylights out of the 1810 kWh I used in July.
With all applicable taxes and fees, my bill came to $107.28. That's almost 13 cents per kWh. What are you guys paying?

I see you smiling MTJAG, and know what you mean by "Almost"!

How many Kwh do you use a month off grid? Oh can you only monitor what you make a month?
