Title: What's going on at CB?
Post by: woodywoodchucker on January 02, 2012, 07:13:40 AM
I call CB several time with questions about the restrictor and lift messages. I never got called back. Seems like they have changed. They always used to call, maybe that was before the sale.

What do you want to know?

Standard on 4030 models.
Recommended for higher elevations (Due to thinner air)
If you have wood that's less than 10% moisture content-It will help save wood consumption.

Since my son and I bought a OWF at the same time I asked the dealer why I didn't get one. (My son did-he has the 4030) He mentioned the things I listed above. He would get me one if I wanted one. I told him I would try operating the unit without it first.  At this point I don't see the need for one.

I think CB is not big on returning calls, I called before I purchased and never had a issue talking to someone, I called a bunch of times for tech support and never talked to a person, and I have been hearing dealers saying they don't get calls back and warn parts take a long time to get.
