Oh "that" steam fix....had me wondering as well at the first pot. :-) I used it up until it all froze over night. I suppose it would have worked well had I NOT tried turning on the fill valve...long story and not enough coffee here at ho,e.
I did remember seeing another that was made out of many pipe fittings put together and on one side there was a thermometer that would show the actual temperature of the water.
So I suppose you just wanted a "brief" reply....no I do not use it anymore.

Sometimes the cause is that the whole OWB is not level. Recheck the front to back and side to side level.

IS TURNING ON WATER FOR 45 SEC A WEAK ALOT .HOW LONG DOES EVERY BODY ELSE LEAVE ON

mine is sometimes less then 10 seconds. i have a 6in. piece of heater hose with a slight up-turn on it. when i check the water i remove it , turn the valve on and when water starts to come out i shut it off immediately and slip the hose back on. this should be done at your high setting.
