Title: BTU and CFM formulas
Post by: abarton on January 12, 2012, 05:58:51 PM
There has been a lot of discussion about what is my cfm or btu output of my coil so here are the formulas: If cfm is known CFMx(T2-T1)x 1.08= BTU   T2=temperature of air leaving the coil  T1=temperature of air entering.     If BTU is known the formula works backwards  BTU/1.08x(T2-T1)=cfm  Note that these formulas are for air flow measurements only.
