Title: water to air Heat Exchanger in Clothes Dryer
Post by: clydem on January 13, 2012, 07:23:11 AM
This may be way out there but would it be a viable idea to make or retro fit an old clothes dryer with an water to air Heat Exchanger.   This would be to pre heat the air or eliminate or reduce the amount the gas or electric consumed by cloths drying.

Your thoughts

The guy I bought my used CL5036 from had actually done this. He was pleased. His wife not so much as I understand. But it saves energy.
