A family friend has one for sale for what seems to be a very good price and the unit is still installed and in working condition so thats not a problem but I cant find any info on this company, The tag says " PROSTEEL model 200 made in canada". Stove looks solid and has a lot of nice features, just has some cosmetic issues, dents, rust on door and a few spots of surface rust on roof. Its 7 years old and hes been the only owner and only replaced the blower fan a year ago as far as problems. Its a mild steel stove and has a round fire box and ranco digital controls and a damper for the flu. Anyone got any good or bad info to add. Thanks

Man you are correct. I just Goggled ProSteel model 200 and didn't find a darn thing. Hopefully someone else on here has better info.

The looks and specs are strikingly similar to a hawken! Smooth roof ,fan on door, even the door latch looks the same. Also has legs and the small round glass light. Hmmm

After further searching here on good ole 11-7 I see its like the global hydronics with the cross tubes in the top of the fire box , hmmm...

Global had a model 200 as well I believe.

Scott7m on here informed me that the address on my prosteel stove is the current address for heatmaster. One of their early stoves it would seem.

it also lookes like the Pacific Western I had

Sounds like one stove builder was making stoves and selling them to different companies to be sold under different names.
