Hi Johnybcold: The following directions are copied verbatim from the manual;
To view water temp. setpoint, press the menu button.
To Change water setpoint:
1) Press and hold menu button
2) To raise temp setpoint press UP arrow; to lower, press DOWN arrow. Press the menu button again to accept the change.
Changing Control Variables:
While in setup mode, select the control variable you want to change. To make a change press the menu button. The current value is displayed. Press the UP button to raise or DOWN button to lower. Press the menu button again to accept the change.
The are 4 variables (1-4) that can be changed within Setup Mode and Diagnostic Function that can be enabled (Variables 5, 6, & 7 are unavailable). To select a variable while in Setup Mode, press the UP or Down button until you reach the desired variable.
The following is a list of variables;
1) Water Temp. Differential
Defines the range from the water temp. setpoint in the which the system can idle. For Example, with a water temp. setpoint of 185* and a water temp. differential of 15F* the system can idle until the water temp. reaches 170*. Chaqnges to this variable will automatically change the auto relight variables. adjustables are 5*F to 25*F.
2) Idle "Pulse" Timeout:
Idle Pulse provides a pulse of air during Idle Mode to maintain the coal bed. The frequency of the pulse of air is determined by the Idle Pulse timeout. for Example, if set to 10, the pulse of air will occur every 10 minutes while is Idle Mode. Adjudtable from 0 to 60 minutes.
3) Idle Pulse Length;
During Idle Mode, the system will provide a pulse of air to maintain the coal bed. The duration of of the pulse of air is determined by this setting. Adjustable from 0 to 50 seconds.
4) Enable Celcius:
This variable determines if temp is displayed in (F) or (C) (Set to 1)
I hope this helps. Let me know if you need additional information.

Install an inground pool and heat it, you will not have load problems anymore.. at least not low load problems.. .lol
