Outdoor Wood Furnace Info

My HVAC friend had me wire my wood boiler as shown in the photo below. I added lines to show clarity and aid someone in explaining to me what is the fix. As soon as I turn on the heat on the wood boiler thermostat the fuse in my air handler burns out. I ensured the heatpump thermostat was switched to the off position. I have a goodman heatpump and air handler. When the temp drops, I need the blower in my air handler to switch on, but not the compressor. Also, I need 24 VAC sent to the wood boiler, to close a circuit, tuning on the circulation pump. I have searched around for many hours trying to find the solution, and today I gave up and went to my friends house and he drew out what I was to do. Well, that did not work, or I misunderstood.

Are the lines where all the wires are jumpered between? If so I would pull it all off and start over.
First thing to do after taking all the wires off is take the wire off the G on the heat pump thermostat and see if the heat pump will still operate ok. Some of them require the G wire but not usually. If the heatpump won't work with the G wire off then you will need a relay. If it goes then run that wire that came off the G to the W on the OWB thermostat. Then run a jumper wire between the RH on both thermostats. Also run a jumper between the C on both.
The relay should be able to be wired to the W on the OWB thermostat and the C connection.

Not sure what you plans are for the heat pump. I too have heat pumps. what I did was simply intercept the 'Y' wire which is the compressor. I wired it to a 3-way light switch. In one position it simply return the 'Y' to the heatpump so it will operate as usual. In the other position it runs it to my 3-way zone valve for the boiler (with 'C' as the ground)
. Works great. With the flip of the switch I can change back and forth between the two systems.
This summer I want to upgrade the switch to be automatic by sensing the hot water from the boiler. This way if all fails, it will still revert to the electric coils too.
