I don't have a OWB yet but have been burning wood most of my life. We have decided to purchase a out side unit for various reasons - dirt - safety - etc. just started reading this site a few days ago and bam it was gone . My first thought was now what do i do . I'm very glad it's back.

Yep, all seems well, but who does "own" it and maintain it...pays the bill? What's upcoming? Us 'po folk that get our enjoyment from it like to be kept abreast of current affairs. If we can be of assistance, please don't hesitate to ask. And yes, it is great not to see pop-up ads and such.
We own and operate a vast array of different furnaces....and are truthful as to our experiences with each. This is most helpful to others. I guess we can steer perspective buyers, but that is to be expected. You can be honest here and say, "What's good for me if I only gots $5 and get an answer, or if $7, or $10". You all get my point for sure.
Good bunch of folks here! A reputable manufacturer has nothing to fear from a site like this. His product should/does speak for itself.
Again, to the new "honcho" in charge, let us know if you need assistance...speakin for most of us, just too happy to make your forum top-notch!!! As it has in the past!!

i dont have a clue as to owns it or what the new agenda is (will be) but i am sure we shall see as the says roll on. i can not see someone buying a site for no reason. there must be a threshold of the amount of traffick that triggers a buyer as he may know how much advertising dollars or somethink like that , that he can realize and turn a profit?
i dont really know and am ownly speculating but if the buyer was just another member, why buy, the site was doing well under phin phan and members had allready donated enough money to get another year from it.
there has to be some sort of gain to be had by the new owner i guess it is still 'wait and see"
i for one will not pay to get or recieve help (other than what we did to keep phin alive when there are alternatives readily available to us all
