Wow it is snowing in Ma , and I did not rush out last night for bread and milk. Well at least I have my stack of pine
-
It was -1* at 6:00 this am. It's warmed up to 3* now. Time to see if the TZ 25 will fire up and work with me to scrape the driveway.

Move north! Where I live we'll be lucky to get a dusting. The temps this morning at 4:00am was in the upper 20's but it is supposed to get cold overnight and into tomorrow with temps in the single digits with 20mph north winds. Long range forecast shows that by mid week we may be in the mid to upper 40's! Can you believe it?
How's the e-classic 1400 operating for you? I find that with the warm temps I'm having a bit of creosote so I'm watching the air holes carefully for any signs of buildup. I wonder if there is a way to redesign this thing to allow the creosote to drain from the holes? I wonder if larger holes would help? It may be easier to clear them if they do want to close up a bit. As you know, those hole are not that big and the creosote is like cold molasses. The way the e-classic 1400 is designed it doesn't allow for drainage that well.
Well, gotta go. A friend of the family past away about a month ago and finally the funeral is here. He suffered about year, perhaps longer with a very aggressive form of lung cancer. God bless him! He played the church organ right up until a couple of weeks before he died. Some of the oldtimers are some of the toughest people I know.
See you later.

Roger,
Sorry to hear of your friend's passing. May he rest in peace....
Did you make any headway on the DHW yet, Roger? I'm thinking you got it all mapped out by now.
Marty,
Supposed to drop of fast all through today. If you had -1, we will be close by midnight. Still have plenty of the good oak saved up for such occasions.
When weather is moving in, Copenhagen and Yuengling Lager sell out fast around these parts!!

Bill, the funeral was very moving. I've been to many (too many) funerals during my lifetime and this is the first time I have ever seen a priest break and cry on the alter during his homily. You know, that really helped everyone's moral. But, it showed people priests are people too.
Anyway, as for the DHW tank install. I'm in the process of rough plumbing it into place. I'm no plumber so it takes me a bit to work through it all but I'm getting there. Thanks for asking. Roger

Bill,
Your life reminds me of Darryl singletary's song "I Ain't Never Had Too Much Fun". It sounds like you really enjoy life! Good on ya', ol' man
