Yeah thats def a big old oak..Great burning for sure. Oak lasts forever lol..Great pics.Like the open fields in the pic

My mom has an old oak like this one in her yard that is about 300 years old.  The reason that they built there 40 some years ago.  I am as glad as anyone to get free wood, especially that size, but sad to see the old wizard have to come down.  Been hit by lightening a few too many times.

The reason that its down his neighbor was putting in a new fence and a bunch if trees had to come down

Nice splitter.  The oak looks like it was beyond its best before date.
