Title: Good thing I kept it goin!
Post by: AirForcePOL on April 06, 2012, 08:03:20 AM
The weather here has been crazy! With the past two or so weeks the highs have been in the upper 70's to mid 80's.  I contemplated shutting the OWB down several times but I kept it going.  Well, the nice weather has come to an end as it was 33 deg this morning when I woke up.   The 10 day forcast doesnt show high temps above 70 so I should get quite a bit of use out of Mr. Smokey before I shut him down for the summer

I shut mine down 3-4 weeks ago and fired it back up on Friday.  I had the boiler 90% clean and put away for the summer.

Here in Michigan we get our summer clothes out in January and expect snow until June.  Not sure if we just aint too bright or what, but nothin' is predictable here.

I think I'll be shutting mine down real soon.  The weather has been pretty decent here and I am ready to open up the windows in the house.  I'm also running out of wood to burn!
