Title: Replacing indoor boiler w/ OWB
Post by: TomE on August 02, 2012, 12:22:40 PM
I have been running a Tarm 2000 Exel for 18 years[pre storage recommendations].It ran well considering I had no storage. This winter the firebox developed 2 leaks at the stays. I had them welded, but there are still 2 pinhole leaks.I am thinking of replacing the unit w/ an OWB,CB's seem popular here in SE central VT.I currently burn  4-5 cords p/a.Would a CB OWB increase my wood usage?Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
