Title: Remote Wood Boiler Monitoring System
Post by: rp4449 on August 22, 2012, 08:41:10 AM
Just purchased a WoodMinder Monitoring System for my Heatmore.  It works great!!  Not only does it show the Boiler water temerature, it shows the draft fan status and lets you know how much wood is left in the boiler.  It also eliminates the need to buy an aquastat to shut down the backup furnace. www.woodminder.com (http://www.woodminder.com)

For those DIY guys who like to monitor & log your boiler stats.
http://www.controlbyweb.com/x300/ (http://www.controlbyweb.com/x300/)

Piece of cake for computer geeks.  It is NOT a plug & play system.  I use mine to monitor my boiler water temp in & out, dhw, ambient outdoor temp, my freezer in my garage, and even the temp & humidity in my gun safe.
I even have a popup window on my PC I monitor while online and the x-300 even sends emails to my phone at alarm set points.

I know...old post, but curious if anyone is running with the WoodMinder or other similar monitoring system. Any recommendations?
