Does anyone else have problems purging the air from their lines? It seems that at the beginning of each heating year, I have trouble getting all the air out of the line coming from the exchanger. If I shut the pump on and off, you can hear bubbles comin from the pump.
I don't know if the pump needs rebuilt or what. Hardy says it should be strong enough to purge the air on its own. After it is out, it is typically good for the remainder of the year.
I am 20' from the house and probably another 20' or so inside the house. Not a real long run compared to some.

I had that problem last year every time I turned my pump off. My pump was at a higher elevation inside the house than the furnace. This year I moved the pump out to the side panel on the central boiler and I have not heard the first bit of air.

I started my hardy last night and didn't notice any air bubbling not sure why that would happen
