Does any one have any suggestions on a wireless temperature device to monitor the water temps. I know that central boiler makes one (hard wired) that installs in line but i don't really what to cut my lines. New member getting ready to start second heating season. Thanks :)

Have you tried google. I suspect they are around but may be a pricey option.

Get a Maverick ET732 wireless heat probe and attach the probe to pex or metal water line either on the OWF or the heat exchanger and insulate it. It will be very close to the water temperature

I will check that out, i looked around on the internet last night but didn't really find anything.

I got one of these. Awesome. Recommend it a lot!

I bought one on E-Bay last winter, around $30. The probe is on my supply line on the back of my furnace and the monitor is on a stand by my recliner. works good.

I will be ordering one very soon thanks.

There is a dual probe version too, so you can see in and out temps, it is fun. Has alarm features that are useful too.
