Title: Test Water
Post by: Roger2561 on October 19, 2012, 03:49:32 AM
Hi all, before firing up my OWB for the season I tested the water by removing 2 or 3 cups of it into a clear glass container into which I placed a steel wool pad.  It's been 2 weeks today that I did that and steel wool looks like I just placed it in the water.  There is not a speck of rust forming on it and water in my OWB is nice an clear. Always the skeptic, I needed to prove to myself that the water treatment is doing it's job.  I am happy to report that it is.  Roger

Centrsl Boiler makes it.  It's called Corrosion Inhibitor.  It's around $54.00 for gallon.  Roger
