Title: My thermostat
Post by: Bull on November 04, 2012, 06:35:30 AM
I had a new heat pump put in this summer and the guy didn't get the tstat wired back right. It is like it is backwards, I have 2 thermostats, 1 for the OWB and 1 for the heat pump and when using the owb one the blower don't come on until you move it to the inside temp. If the inside temp is at 72 the blower won't kick on until you raise the lever on the tstat to 72 and it should be on until it hits the 72 mark. The OWB tstat is a cheep one (LUX) and only has 2 wires, that are hooked up breaking the green wire on the new tstat.

What connections are the wires going to? It sounds like it is in cooling mode instead of heat.
