Might be time to replace my dayton blower. I went out to fill furnace for the evening and noticed that the blower flap was up but the fan was not spinning. I tapped the fins inside the blower and it started working properly. I just replaced this blower last year. Should I try to clean the fins or just order a new blower at this point. I was thinking of ordering a 75 cfm blower. My current blower is a Dayton 1tdn7 (cfm) and the new one is a Dayton 1tdp3. They both have the same outlet diameter so they should interchange with no problem. Any thoughts out there?

i fit was not spinning it has a "dead spot" in it and is close to total failure. if you spin it by hand you likely notice it is a bit harder to turn than a new one too. I order mine from from grainger at a cost of about 54 bucks...1tdp7 (buy 2 and have a spare...and a solenoid too)

It looks like a nice blower but does not appear that the 1tdp7 will fit on a Shaver OWB. It there an adapter?

i am not sure if it will fit...but if you can find tehm in the online grainger catalauge you can get teh bolt pattern...or i can measure the spare in the room beside me and give you the bolt spacing

According to alternated heating supply, the 1tdp7 has an rectangle outlet 3.25 x 2 3/16. Existing blower has 2 1/8 inch round outlet.
