Title: new install
Post by: Ash on November 08, 2012, 05:48:32 PM
I want to take a moment to thank everyone on this board for their knowledge and wisdom.  The accumulated information by those who have taken the time to document stories and share knowledge has proved invaluable to me.  Thank you!

I’m using the GX10 to heat our 5300 sf house (oil fired hydronic baseboard) and the dhw.

Welcome aboard! Holy crap that is a lot of sq ft to heat with that gx10! Think you are going to love it, have only heard good things about that gasser.

Welcome, wow that does sound like a lot of square ft for that model.
You must live in a warmer southern climate? Newer, tight, well insulated house?
What kind of burn times did dealer tell you to expect?
You'll have to let us know how it performs when it gets into the cold of winter.
Right now in 30's my gasser hardly burns much wood at all.
