Just went to auction where somebody paid 5000 for a three yr old 5036 central boiler.  Are there new owbs priced less than that ?

I don't know about their prices but I was thinking they are about 10k new.
I'm sure someone else will chime in soon with a price.

Central Boiler posts their furnace prices on their www.centralboiler.com (http://www.centralboiler.com) website.
Looks like the CL5036 could have been bought new today for $6,510.
I guess they must hold there value very well.

That does seem high but if it is compared to EPA unit at 10k

			-
Yes they do hold value very well considering most owners have no issues with them other than the occasional pump or door rope replacement.

At a fair a few weeks ago I was quoted $8300 for a EPA 2 Heatmor unit itself.. So ya call it 10K for a new EPA 2 boiler
