Post by: sstan on April 06, 2009, 12:55:06 PM
OK .. has anyone found anything good to use on the NC for a spark arrestor and rain cap?  I used a stock rain cap .. lasted about 2 months and then burnt apart!  I wanted to use the stove some this summer but am worrid about the sparks!

Steve,  I would try using a stainless steel cap with a mesh spark arrestor.

I have a 36" piece of single wall stainless pipe on mine with a stainless spark arrestor cap.  Only been burning for a week but the mesh is pretty big and it would take a whole lot to stop it up.
