With only 115 gal water jacket do you need extra water storage to run efficiently.

No, it's actually at it's limit in regards to efficiency. It's at the limit of burning wood so to speak, exhaust temps are down to around 300, once you go lower than 300, you don't have enough hest left going out the stack to carry out the proper amount of moisture, if you go down to let's say 270, condensation forms in your exhaust and rains back into your stove causing an early death. The pro 400 burns nearly 99% of combustibles and is able to capture 89% of the available btus. Empyre now has 6 EPA phase 2 models, the one I'm running holds 60 gallons.
The whole capacity equals efficiency is a myth. For example empyre builds industrial boilers that burn anything from grain to coal, some of which produe 2.5 million btu/hour and they only hold 350-500 gallons of water. They are using these to heat apartments, schoolsm govt buildings, you name it

that's funny. I run the 100 with a 30 gallon water jacket capacity.
Don't worry about the small gallon water jacket.
