Has anyone used these?  Looking to install some too try and get my water temp down a little.

They are graphite transfer plates from Watts, they call them the Flex Plate.   I have too run 160 degree water right now too heat the floor just to maintain 68 at the temps we have. Single digits.

I stapled the rubber tubin' to the floor, covered it with Reflex-tex barrier, 'n stuffed the joist bays with fiberglass insulation in the place I did...

I use a hydraulic separator, 'n mixer valve to run 160° water through the floor...
The boiler primary circuit simmers along at 180°...

Most radiant floor systems I've seen run around 110

Not saying it's right just never heard of one that high

Took some reading of the floor with my IR gun, floor temps are between 77 and 80 and the temp in the house is 68 this morning. 5 degrees outside.
Might have too look at installing a few panel rads to make up the difference and turn the water down a bit.

Bondo what kind of rubber tubing did you use? I just started pulling my insallation out to install in floor heat iny tile kichten and info on the parts used would be great

It's EPDM rubber, 'n an aluminum Oxy-barrier...

The supposed benefit is it don't make alota noise as it expands, 'n contracts under the wooden floor boards it's stapled to, like pex sometimes does...

I stapled it directly to the underside of the floor boards, then a layer of reflex-tex, 'n then stuffed the joist bays with fiberglass insulation...

It's well into it's 3rd season, with No issues so far,...

Nope,...   It goes together with brass hose barbs, 'n plain ole hose clamps...
